Please note that passengers are not permitted to wear hoodies with the hood up, balaclavas, or soiled clothing.
Visibility of the face is important for safety and identification. In some cases, passengers wear a hood along with a scarf and/or mask, which significantly reduces face visibility and increases safety risks.
If you choose to wear a hoodie, we kindly request that you do not cover your head with the hood while within the Gautrain system, in order to maintain appropriate face visibility.
We understand that weather conditions vary, but these rules are in place year-round to maintain consistent safety standards and cannot be adjusted seasonally.
