Kindly note that our prices are determined according to a “peak” and an “off peak” period.

Thus, creating the following prices for a bus

During Peak period, R29.00 bus fee is applicable to all users, until the train is used within an hour of the bus. Once the system recognize that the customer used a bus and a train, the bus discount of R16.00 will automatically be allocated onto the customer travel card, thus making the bus trip R13.00.

 

The same rule applies for off peak period. R22.00 bus fee is applicable to all users, until the train is used within an hour of the bus. Once the system recognize that the customer used a bus and a train, the bus discount of R16.00 will automatically be allocated onto the customer travel card, thus making the bus trip R6.00.

 

According to your Gautrain statement, every bus trip -from the date the card was purchased- has been charged correctly. Please see the attached statement of your Gautrain card.
