Thank you for writing to us.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest apologies for the experience you encountered while on board Gautrain. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and fully acknowledge the impact it had on your journey.  We would just like to clarify that the Gautrain is a Public Transport system and that it is your right as a paying passenger to request other paying passengers to remove their bags from the seat. There are rules which we as Gautrain have already put in place for passengers to follow.  Please be informed that each train is equipped with security personnel who are available to assist passengers in situations such as these. We encourage you to approach them immediately for support if needed during your journey.
